Hey, I'm Ryan. I'm an art director, designer, developer, writer, and type enthusiast. I'm currently working at Coinbase as an art director & creative technologist. I like thinking about component libraries, design systems, and microinteractions.

I'm also a co-founder of Spiritual Engineering, a design and development studio.

Before Coinbase, I was a UX Engineer at Freethink, a media and video platform based in D.C. Before that, I worked as a designer & engineer at Faculty, a cosmetics startup based in Brooklyn.

In 2019, I started an online community for type designers and creative coders called ECCO. We host workshops, crits, and collaborative design projects.
